HAZUL
From Oporto, Hazul self-taught art is a well-organized mixture. He shares with us an interesting bestiary: snakes resembling birds from paradise, proto shamanic figures, beings from another galaxy and dimension. Oriental influences or remote civilizations seem to have inspired Hazul. Hearts, many hearts, Holly Marie’s, a hole imaginary that take’s us back to traditional Portugal. In this urban creation, unexpectedly, arises symbolic images that remind us of a Romanesque or gothic tradition, hermetic, strong and well marked. Even in tattoos we find his drawings in which appear unicorns, mandalas, circles of eternal return, symbolizing the oneness of the universe in all its aspects. In this case art rims with spirituality.
